Sand filters

Sand filters are used to remove the last remaining solid particles from a waste water flow. Following sand filtration, the waste water can be re-used in production processes. No other mechanical filtering is required for this. Because Wazutec has developed sand filters based on the standard applicable to the drinking water sector, little rinse water is required to rinse the filters.

Active carbon filter

The active carbon filter is used for the absorption and adsorption of organic substances (COD) and residual (COD) such as fat residues, oil residues and solvents. An active carbon filter can also be used as a dechlorination filter or for the decolourisation of water.  Wazutec mainly uses active carbon filters for industry. Our filters are used as final filters (polishing filters) or as protection filters in drinking water, process water or waste water flows. The filters are always used in conjunction with other techniques for the best possible result.
